This is the home of the Office Jukebox. Originally conceived and built by Daniel. During the dot-com days a group of developers at beenz.com grew tired of the arguments that arise from many people and their tastes co-existing in a single space.
The product of this was a jukebox server with a web-based front end that allowed anyone to submit music to a playlist that was then played from anywhere. They could vote songs up and down using the currency of Karma.
Since then, the software has been updated, the User Interface is now easier to use and the system is now more robust and easier to install and use. However the original principles and goals that Dan intended have been preserved and much of his original code reamins throughout the codebase.
